Exchange in Luxembourg

That was found in mid-October first international meeting on cultural participation in Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg).

12 organizations from 10 countries exchanged ideas intensively on the topic of cultural participation and how an inclusive cultural offer is possible for everyone.
Together with other associations from Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Canada, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland and Spain we talked about our mediation work.

These associations from different countries, like us, are committed to cultural participation and enable people with low incomes to access culture. Over a period of three days, we exchanged ideas about our working methods, presented our projects and how we manage to reach not only potential new guests, but also new cultural partners and supporters. On the last evening there was a multilingual conference with a panel discussion, where we were able to present our results and goals for further cooperation.

Access to culture and thus also to social participation not only brings individual added value, but also supports people in dealing critically and actively with their environment.

We are delighted that we are part of the European Capital of Culture programme Esch 2022 were allowed to be there in Luxembourg and of course also to further international cooperation and networking.
