Who can register with KulturRaum München?
You can register if you have little money available and in Munich .
This applies, for example, if you:
- Receive basic security in old age or in case of incapacity for work
- Citizen's allowance (formerly unemployment benefit II)

Why is a pension, tax or disability card not sufficient as proof?

Tickets & Participation
How do I get tickets?

I would prefer to receive the events by email rather than be called – is that possible?

How many cards do I get?
We always try two cards to reserve for you. This allows you to bring a companion – for example, a friend or family member. This person does not need to be registered with KulturRaum.
Parents with children up to 13 years receive - as far as possible - so many cards that the whole family can go to the event together.
Do I have to go to an event if I have tickets?
Yes, please use the tickets. Each ticket is a gift. If you can't attend, please let us know in advance.
Can I give my cards to someone else?
No. The cards are for your use only. You may not share, give away, or sell them.
How do I collect my tickets?
Your tickets will usually be available at the box office. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the start the event. Just say your name and that you're coming through KulturRaum München.
Do I need to show proof or ID when picking up the cards?

What happens if I don't pick up my tickets?

When can tickets be picked up at the office?
Only during our opening hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 10am–16pm
Not on Wednesdays and weekends, we are closed!
Do I have to write down the information about the event?
If you have an email address, you will automatically receive a Order confirmation and Remembrance by email.

I didn't receive an order confirmation by email. Can I still attend the event?
Yes.
The order confirmation is not necessaryto get tickets at the box office.

Can I be put on a waiting list for certain events?
No, we do not have waiting lists.
Orders
How often can I get tickets?
You can have a maximum once per calendar month Order tickets for an event. There doesn't have to be a specific time gap between two orders—for example, at the end of the month and again at the beginning.
Is there a guarantee that I will get tickets?
No. It's possible that we don't have a suitable event for you in one month. Double bookings in the following month are not possible.
Can I also get tickets for my children?
Yes, if you also culturechildren are registered. Then you can get tickets for adults once a month and once for children.
Will I be informed if an event is cancelled?
Most of the time yes.
If the organizer informs us, we will inform you as soon as possible.
But:
Please look to be on the safe side on Organizer's website whether the event is actually taking place – especially on the day of the event.
Additional offers (ZA)
What are additional offers?
Additional offers are extras in addition to the regular monthly admission tickets. These can include guided tours, readings, or lectures – often on a smaller scale or with special themes.
How do I find out about additional offers?
You will usually receive an email from us once a month.
How can I order tickets for this?
Only via email – Click the order button in the message. Please provide an alternative in your email. This way, we may be able to offer you another suitable additional event without having to spend a long time writing back and forth.
Special Offers (BA)
What are special offers?
These are very popular events that every guest maximum 4 times a year We want every guest to have a chance to take advantage of these special offers.
e.g.:

– Bavarian State Opera
– Long Night of Museums
– Spring Festival, Tollwood, Circus, etc.
How often can I book special offers?
A maximum of four times a year.
Can I also book my monthly offer with a special offer?
No. The special offer counts as a monthly offer.
Can I book an additional offer in addition to a special offer?
Yes, that's possible. Additional offers are always extra.
Behavior at events
How should I behave at events?
Please be kind and respectful to everyone: at the box office, in the auditorium, during intermission—to staff and other guests. You represent KulturRaum München—and help ensure that we continue to receive free tickets.
Is there a dress code?
No, there are no fixed dress code at the events.
You need to make don't wear anything special.
But:
Please make sure clean and tidy clothes to wear – just as you want to feel good and look good.

I can't come to the event – what should I do?
Please cancel as soon as possible so we can give the tickets to someone else.
