Experiencing culture together

The focus of KulturPaten für München (Culture Mentors for Munich) is on shared cultural experiences. Volunteer KulturPaten accompany people who need support attending cultural events – thus enabling shared cultural experiences in the city.

Existing mentoring pairs can register with us, similar to social service organizations, to gain access to free or discounted event tickets. This expands their shared sphere of activity and opens up new cultural experiences. Our external mentoring pairs include, among others, mentoring partnerships for people with refugee experience, people with disabilities or other limitations, and mentoring partnerships for children.

The culture sponsor takes on the role of contact person and organizes the cultural visit for themselves and the accompanied person or group.
