Cinema preview for KulturKinder during the Easter holidays

During the Easter holidays came at our invitation 90 KulturKinder in the Arena cinema. Two halls were occupied to the last seat! 8 months before the official theatrical release was as exclusive preview of the film Robber Hotzenplotz gezeigt.

Producer Jakob Claussen and director Michael Krummenacher welcomed the children personally.

There were children from various community accommodations for refugees, from the Children's home KAI Neuaubing from June and private culture children families.

There were also snacks and drinks to choose from for all big and small cinema-goers. It was a very nice, funny and lively holiday cinema morning.

Many thanks to everyone involved for this great invitation!

Here are a few impressions:

"(...) The unanimous opinion of the children was that it was the best day of vacation in the after-school care center, everyone was enthusiastic about the film and really enjoyed the trip. A first grader already knew the story, was read aloud at school, sometimes thought it was a little scary, scarier than reading it, but also very exciting and beautiful. If it got too scary for me, I just put my hands in front of my eyes.

I too thought it was a great film adaptation of the story of the robber Hotzenplotz, I love the stories by Ottfried Preussler and so it was a great film day for me too.”

"I really loved the movie! The film won't be in cinemas until winter and it was so great that I was able to see it at the premiere! It was really cool that the director was there too. Thanks for the drinks and the m&m's!”

Ilkra, 11 years

The film was well received by everyone, especially the role of the magician. Of course, it was also exciting to meet the director on site. We have a girl in the group who would like to become a director herself. Unfortunately, she didn't dare to speak to him.

The children always look forward to the snacks and drinks. When I asked them what they liked, they said the cup holders on the seats came in handy and they thought it was cool that the film was shown in two screens.
