Due to current events, here is some information about culture for refugees from Ukraine.
KulturRaum München provides free tickets for culture to people with low incomes in Munich. This has always included refugees who would like to discover culture in Munich. As a rule, they get their tickets through our group service to social institutions and our KulturPaten for Munich offer. Of course, individuals and families can also register with us independently.
How to register and get tickets for culture?
Individuals, families and couples:

To register is a Proof of low income necessary, for example the Munich Pass.
We would also be happy to send you the registration form. Write an e-mail to: gast@kulturraum-muenchen.de. Important: Write your postal address in the e-mail.
Registering with Kultur-Raum does not cost anything.

This offer is aimed at (adult) refugees who want to visit cultural events together with volunteer KulturPat:innen.

If you are already a culture guest yourself and have taken in refugees:
We would be happy to provide you with tickets for a joint cultural visit. To do this, contact our telephone ticket office: 089 / 55 26 71 83.
Group mediation to social institutions that look after refugees:
If you, as a social institution, would like to receive tickets for people or groups from the Ukraine who are being cared for, you can register with us for group placement.
1. Group mediation for children, families and young people
Are you a social institution for children up to the age of 13? Or are you a godparent for a child up to the age of 13? Then register with us for group cards to get free tickets for theater, concerts and other great programs for children. Write us: kulturkinder@kulturraum-muenchen.de.

How can you support us to enable culture for refugees from Ukraine?

We are looking for Ukrainian and Russian-speaking mediators for support in telephone ticket procurement and at the counter issuing points.

Die Initiative "Laughs instead of firecrackers" has the motto "смiятися, а не боятися", which rhymes and translates to Ukrainian "Laugh instead of being scared" means started a special fundraiser for children from Ukraine.
The Donations in favor of KulturRaum München eV are used, for example, for visits by clowns, puppet shows or magicians in the accommodations as well as tickets for wildlife parks and many other leisure facilities.

If you would like to donate craft and creative materials to Ukrainian children, you can contact our “Do-it-yourself bags for Ukrainian children” campaign participate.
It's very easy to take part: simply get the items on the list, put them in a fabric bag and hand them in at one of the designated locations.
