Culture is nourishment for the soul. Culture creates belonging. Culture is the key to successful inclusion in society. The Team at KulturRaum München wants culture to be accessible to everyone in Munich. That's why we arrange donated tickets for cultural events free of charge to people with low incomes. In addition to Ticket Distribution we are involved with various projects for more cultural participation for all people in Munich.

Until Easter Monday, donors were able to click on Easter eggs in our digital KulturWunschNest and fulfill the personal cultural and leisure wishes of senior citizens. This week we are starting an Easter campaign for seniors with a small pension: At the KulturWunschNest you can fulfill your wishes and work for a better quality of life despite poverty in old age. 💙💜💛 Simply click on a virtual Easter egg, choose a wish and donate online. Link in bio and story! Anastasios (75) loves swimming and would like a 10-person ticket for the Nordbad. Elisabeth (85) and Angelika (74) want to enjoy the atmosphere in the Gärtnerplatztheater. Sonia (72) would like to see a game of her favorite team TSV 1860 Munich in the Grünwalder Stadium. With our literature room we offer two reading groups

With our Literature Room we offer two reading circles for our cultural guests 📚 “Reading Circle 1” takes place under the direction of Patricia Schüttler. A second “Reading Circle 2” led by Andrea Schittenhelm has the motto “Books that mean the world - a literary trip around the world”. Our meetings take place once a month.🗓️ A book title is discussed that was previously selected by the participants and read in preparation.📖 We usually read current titles that are being discussed in public or classics of world literature 🌎 - but our reading group is also open to unconventional book suggestions. We are very pleased that the books are donated to us by publishers, so that participation in the LiteraturRaum is free for our cultural guests. Magical fun in the LUISE cultural center! 🎩🌟 In February our guest café was all about magic and children's entertainment. Over 70 children and adults came to see the magic show with award-winning magician Rene Frotscher. 🎭🤹‍♂️ The show thrilled with interactive magic, clowning, pantomime and lots of wordplay. In our “KulturKinder München” offer, we work with sponsorship programs for children, whose sponsorship tandems we invite to cultural visits. We invited children from our cooperation partner Kinderhelden Munich and their mentors to the magical afternoon.
