The KulturRaum München e. V. will also be holding the wishing tree campaign this year at the Schwabing Christmas market perform at the Munich Freedom. Munich residents, for whom it is not a matter of course to go to the cinema, theater or concerts, wrote Christmas wishes for cultural events on their hearts and hung them on the tree.

Visitors to the Christmas market can pick a cultural wish from the tree, get the tickets and then hand them in at the wishing tree stand by December 22nd. If you don't have time to fulfill your wishes, but still think the project is worth supporting, you can also do it on site Donate money. Unpicked wishes are fulfilled with the donations.

In the last two years, the wishing tree with Christmas wishes has become the Children decorated by KulturRaum München eV, this year the wishing tree will become the "KulturWunschBaum". What is new is that the circle of recipients is extended to young and old and that the gifts in kind are becoming cultural wishes. Many people don't have enough money to go to the theatre, concert or amusement park. Market visitors can now give other people experiences that give the recipient joy, inspiration and variety in a difficult everyday life. At the same time, the KulturWunschbaum makes the diverse cultural offerings of the city visible at a prominent location.
